At the September 2023, Intel Developer Conference, Intel clarified that it is firmly focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) today and well into its future.

Intel placed AI at the center of this year’s conference and laid out its world and company views on AI. The aim of Intel is to democratize AI and expand its applications across various domains.

One of Intel’s bolder moves is to rebrand the PC for our AI future. In Intel chairman, Patrick Gelsinger’s opening keynote, he introduced what he calls the AI PC. He positioned it as a revolutionary concept that brings AI capabilities to personal computing. The Intel Core Ultra processors will be the first to integrate a neural processing unit for efficient AI acceleration and local inference on PCs.
